THINGS TO DO
The New “It Spot”
Twelve courts, a self-serve beverage wall and Roman-style pizza—Oklahoma City's newest pickleball destination has landed at The Shoppes at Northpark.

September 2026

If you’ve driven past The Shoppes at Northpark on May Avenue lately, you’ve probably noticed something new: Northpark Pickleball, a 41,600-square-foot “eatertainment” complex built into the space once occupied by an AMC theater and a jewelry store, opened in fall 2025 and has quickly become one of the busiest spots in the shopping center.
Twelve Courts, Indoors and Out
Developed by Oklahoma City restaurateur Matt Glenn, Northpark Pickleball is billed as the city’s largest pickleball facility, with six indoor courts and six outdoor courts—competition-grade surfaces built for everyone from casual first-timers to serious league play. The venue is open daily from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m., with off-peak court time in the mornings and prime-time play running from 4 p.m. on.
More Than Just Pickleball
The “eatertainment” part of the name isn’t an exaggeration. Northpark Pickleball pairs its courts with a full restaurant serving Roman-style pizza and Tuscan sandwiches, plus a 36-tap self-serve beverage wall where guests pour their own drinks at their own pace.
Northpark Pickleball sits in the very same shopping center as Sample Oklahoma Gift Company, so if you’re stopping in for the Sampling Oklahoma Travel Guide or a locally made gift, it’s an easy add-on to your visit—and one more reason The Shoppes at Northpark has become a genuine Oklahoma City destination in its own right.
